Luke Littler branded 'absolute class' for what he did before 170 checkout attempt
Darts sensation Luke Littler was branded "absolute class" for his antics in his quarter-final victory against Brendan Dolan.
The 16-year-old continued his remarkable run in the Paddy Power PDC World Darts Championship after quickly dismissing Dolan 4-1 in Monday's (January 1) afternoon clash. A semi-final match-up against world No8 Rob Cross awaits the teenager on Tuesday (January 2).
With his performance against the Northern Ireland legend once again being top-notch, Littler was certainly comfortable enough to have fun with the ever-rowdy Ally Pally crowd during the first set of the match.

Unfortunately, he narrowly missed but managed to secure the first set in his next throw. At just 16 years of age, he continues to make history every time he steps on the stage and the fans look to be enjoying it with one X (formerly known as Twitter) calling him: "absolute class".

Another fan was equally complimentary as they wrote: "This Littler fella is actually a f***ing legend ain’t he hahaha, what a boy" while a third fan has high hopes for his future by commenting: "Luke littler playing the crowd at 16... he's gonna go far".
Rob Cross now stands in Littler's way of becoming the youngest-ever player to reach a World Championship final - a record that is currently held by Kirk Shepherd. The 37-year-old was just 21 years old when he made it the 2008 final before losing to John Part.
However, a once promising future was ruined when the Englishman turned to gambling and alcohol and was later affected by dartitis. Former darts star Wayne Mardle spoke exclusively to Daily Star Sport and said Littler won't go in a similar direction as Shepherd.

"It’s different now," Mardle said. "There’s hardly anyone now who is going to make the final without being experienced around the world of darts. I don’t think there is anyone coming along and not understanding what they’re getting into.
"Nowadays, there are professional people around the high-end amateurs, who’ll be getting better management advice than Kirk had."
